Kia ora, My name is Ella. Today I am going to try and persuade you into thinking that New Zealand children should be able to vote.

I think children should be able to vote because some day we will need to vote for prime minister. One Prime Minister could bribe the children into voting for them so, kids should choose the Prime Minister that didn’t bribe the children. What if an adult made a vote; let’s have a new library or let’s build a new park. Those are two things kids would LOVE to vote for. Lots of adults wouldn’t even care about voting for those kinds of things.
It would be more accurate
If more people voted in the world there would be more votes for one particular thing. So it would be more clear on who won. It would be so much easier!
Conclusion
In conclusion I think that New Zealand children SHOULD be able to vote. I hope that after all of this you feel the same! Next time there is a vote let your child vote.
